Plants for Windows was designed with the small nursery (ours!) in mind! Sadly, though it worked well on all versions of Windows up to and including XP, Microsoft made some pretty significant changes to Windows when they created Vista and Windows 7 - basically, they made it intrinsically incompatible with a lot of the software designed to run on older versions of Windows, but then bolted a half-baked "compatibility layer" on, which causes all sorts of problems, particularly for programs which use databases, like mine. I had so many issues with the new Windows versions that I felt that I had to stop selling the program, even though it worked for some people on the new operating systems.

If you'd still like to try the program and see if it works for you, you can download for free and I can send you an registration code by email. I won't charge, but if you find it OK, you could make a suitable donation to the Christchurch Earthquake appeal in lieu of payment.

Just click HERE and follow the instructions to download the installer (INSTALL.EXE) into a temporary folder, then run that file from wherever you put it. As I said, you will need a registration code to install it - just ask me if you feel this might be useful to you. The Charity donation details are also on this web page.
